Was the Miss thrifty on radio 4 expelling the virtues of savings? Perhaps an iplayer link for those of us who treat iplayer as the only way to listen/watch bbc programs?

I’m in Australia and heard you on the BBC with your Grandma and am looking forward to reading your tips. My mum is about the same age as your Grandma, so I’ve also grown up with a lot of her tips.

I just managed to listen, does your Grandma do speaking gigs?
On a serious note does anyone know if local schools have any sort of program for introducing kids to some of the ideas of the thrifty Grandma generation?

Ah, I am sure that keynote speeches by Frugal Grandma can be arranged!
I haven’t heard about any local schools providing thrifty programmes, but I think I might pen a magnaminous letter to David Cameron, offering household tips. He is trying to be thrifty but his bike got nicked again, so I reckon he needs some frugal support 😉
