Psst! Just a quick post to let you know that Sainsbos is currently discounting everything in its clothing department by 25%.
These 25% off deals do pop up at Sainsbury’s every now and then. There must be some rhyme and reason to it: if any readers work at Sainsbury’s and know when the next one will be, please keep me posted as I (and a lot of you, I expect) will be very grateful. If only I’d known that this discount was coming up, I’d have waited a couple of weeks before buying Thrifty Baby’s winter mittens.
This discount deal ends on Monday 4 November 2013, so get in while you can. TU isn’t sold online, but is available from the larger Sainsbury’s bricks-and-mortar stores up and down the country.
As I have written previously, I am a big fan of TU clothing, particularly the baby and kids’ stuff. This season there is also a women’s clothing collection called Country Chic, which I like a lot. I am not so keen on the bodywarmers and padded jackets. (What can I say? I live in North Yorkshire, where farmwear is big. I practically bounce off wellies and Barbour jackets on my way to work.) However the tweeds and animal designs get the thumbs up from me.
Check out the cheesy video for the rather lovely sausage dog umbrella, reduced to £4.50 and the Scottie dog jumper, reduced to £15:

Awh yay, I forgot about this, thank you, I need to stock up on baby bits!
They usually do it every half term to pick up on the inevitable school uniform business. In the summer it’s around the bank holiday weekend.
