Later this year the first Write On Finance Blog Up takes place, in Leeds. Billed as a two-day get-together for personal finance bloggers, writers and those working for or on behalf of finance companies, including PRs and SEOs, the event is set to focus upon learning from one another, networking and looking at ways to work together for mutual benefit.
The organiser behind the Write On Finance Blog Up is Karen Bryan from the Help Me To Save blog.
I’ll be there – in fact, I have been asked to give a talk. I haven’t yet decided upon the subject matter. Traffic? Outreach? War stories? Something more… monied? If you are going and would like to hear about something in particular, let me know and I can shape my talk around it. I’m open to all suggestions.
You can view the schedule and purchase tickets here. The Write On Finance Blog Up takes place on Saturday 22 September and Sunday 23 September 2012. The venue is The Chambers in Leeds city centre.
Ticket prices start at £20 for bloggers and writers. For every five tickets of any type bought before 30 June 2012, there will be a prize draw for a one night hotel stay on Saturday 22 September for two guests.
I know that a fair few bloggers, PRs and so on read the Miss Thrifty Blog. If you are one and you decide to come, it will be so nice to meet you in person!

Thanks for helping get the word out about the Write on Finance Blog Up.
I’m sure that your talk will be fab, whatever the topic. Personally, I like to hear about how bloggers started and grew their own blogs.
