GIVEAWAY: win Threadless freebies!

Longtime readers will know that I’m a big Threadless fan. For the uninitiated: Threadless produces great T-shirts with the best designs, and sends them all over the world. I’m delighted to announce that to mark its 10th anniverary and the publication of a very handsome new book, Threadless is giving away T-shirt vouchers to three lucky Miss Thrifty readers!

This is the book, published by Harris & Wilson. I told them that if they sent me a copy, I would review it. When it arrived I looked at reviews on other blogs and realised that I am neither (a) cool enough; (b) arty-farty enough; (c) sufficiently knowledgeable about cult illustrators to do this tome justice. Fortunately other bloggers meet these criteria, and you can read their paeans here, here and here.

The Miss Thrifty review: the book is heavy, printed on thick glossy paper and stuffed with 300 of its best T-shirt designs. There are also profiles of some of the leading designers, and a potted company history. If you are looking for a Christmas present for a creative type who is into design, fashion or both, it’s a perfect gift. It costs less than I would have thought: just £8.00 from Amazon.

I have three $30 Threadless vouchers to give away. If you are feeling thrifty, you can make $30 stretch a long way on the Threadless site right now: for example, there is a bunch of girls’ shirts reduced to $5 each, and there are even more for $12.

How to win: there are three opportunities to win. One voucher will be won by a Miss Thrifty blog commenter, another will be won by a Miss Thrifty Facebook fan and another will be won by a Miss Thrifty blog subscriber. You can enter once in each category, so I guess it’s technically possible that you could win $90 of vouchers by entering three times.

The closing date is Friday 12 November 2010, 6 pm GMT, and the competition is open to readers worldwide. Winners will be picked via a random number generator.
